I Need a Drink

Sometimes a drink can help you discover the truth…

After his father’s murder, small-town POLICE DETECTIVE MAYO starts drinking excessively and becomes obsessed with finding the killer, which leads him to a slew of bad decisions along the way.

After his wife leaves him, and a two-month suspension from the police department for excess alcohol consumption, Mayo is reassigned to desk work. While filing cases, he unearths a fingerprint related to his father’s yet-unsolved murder.

He also discovers that ARTHUR RHODES, a low-rent alcoholic who owns a local, rundown auto repair shop, is linked to the case. Mayo pays him an unexpected visit and learns that Arthur is certain he knows a lot about the suspected killer.

LIEUTENANT LLOYD, Mayo’s boss, takes him off the case when she finds out he’s working it without her permission. She assigns the case to two other Detectives.

But, when Mayo realizes the two detectives aren’t taking the case seriously, he and Arthur secretly team up to help find the killer.

The pursuit is on!
